Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate daily tasks and priorities.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, report incidents, accidents, or equipment damage immediately, and ensure correct PPE is worn at all times.
- Safely operate equipment and ensure colleagues are trained and following safe procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, defects, or malfunctions to your Line Manager promptly.
- Complete A&D checks accurately and ensure vehicles run to schedule, following CPC procedures for late vehicles.
- Ensure correct loading and unloading procedures are followed, with inbound and outbound vehicles strategically placed for efficiency.
- Access, document, and move mail to the correct processing areas.
- Complete quality checks and required reporting in line with plant procedures.
- Pottering Yorks (up to 250kg) to the loading bay.
- Previous warehouse or bay experience is desirable.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow processes accurately.
- Physical fitness to handle manual handling tasks.
- Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
- AM, PM, and Night shifts
- Monday to Saturday
- Flexibility is essential to meet operational requirements in this 24-hour operation.
