VNA / CB FLT Operatives

The Role - 

Job Title: VNA (or Counterbalance) Forklift Operative
Location: Millshaw Industrial Park, Leeds, LS11 
Employment Type: Full-Time-Temporary, Temp-to-Permanent 
Hourly Rate: To Be Confirmed, with shift premiums, weekends & overtime opportunities.
Shift Patterns: IMMEDIATE STARTS ON 2PM-10PM 

- Available shifts including days, evenings, and nights; weekend work & overtime also available.

Key Responsibilities - 

• Safe Operation:
  Operate Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) or Counterbalance (CB) forklifts to move and store pharmaceutical products within the warehouse.
• Order Fulfilment: 
  Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, adhering to company protocols and quality standards.
• Inventory Management:
  Assist in stock rotation and inventory checks to maintain optimal stock levels and product integrity.
• Loading/Unloading:
  Efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care.
• Equipment Maintenance:
  Conduct routine checks on VNA or CB equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs promptly.
• Compliance:
  Adhere to all health and safety regulations, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Team Collaboration:
  Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to meet daily operational 

Requirements - 

• Licensing: Valid VNA or CB forklift license accredited by RTITB or ITSSAR.
• Experience: Previous experience operating VNA or CB forklifts in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in order picking and inventory management.
• Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Qualifications - 

• Additional forklift licenses (e.g., Counterbalance, Scissor Lift) are advantageous.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and handheld scanning devices.
• Knowledge of Good Distribution Practice (GDP)
