Project Officer

Pay rate: £17.79 per hour
The Talent Crowd are recruiting for a Project Officer in the Barnsley area.
We are a growing Programme Office that manages, drives and supports the delivery of our Children’s Services Transformational Programme.

Our environment is fast- paced and sensitive.  You will be supporting projects that range in scale and size. With an opportunity to work across both our Education, Early Start and Prevention service area, as well as Children’s Social Care. Some of our projects include the implementation and roll out of a social care practice model across the service, and with partners, supporting the development and introduction of new services to children, and helping to embed key strategies along with many more child focused projects.
As Project Officer you will support both small and large projects across the Children’s Services Development Plan. Your project skills will enable you to support and maintain progress effectively, ensuring we deliver good quality, inclusive and collaborative projects on time.
You will need to bring with you your project skills and experience, so that you can hit the ground running; In this role, your talent for communication will be as important as your skills in organising and problem solving. You will need to prioritise your workload effectively, support key Workstreams and other meetings, and build effective working relationships with managers, internal colleagues and partners.
