The Role
A secondary school in Birmingham is seeking an experienced and organised Data & Exams Manager to join their team from April 2026 on a supply basis.
This role is central to the smooth running of both school data systems and the examinations process. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate student data, supporting reporting cycles, and overseeing the planning and delivery of internal and external examinations.
Key responsibilities include coordinating exam timetables, ensuring compliance with JCQ regulations, managing entries and results, and working closely with senior leadership to provide accurate data analysis to support school improvement.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in a Data and/or Exams role within a school setting
• Possess strong knowledge of school MIS systems (e.g. SIMS, Arbor)
• Be familiar with JCQ regulations and exam processes
• Demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Be detail-oriented with the ability to manage deadlines and confidential data
