The Role
An Ofsted-rated Good secondary school in Walsall is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their department from April 2026 on a supply basis.
The role involves teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering structured and engaging lessons that develop students’ numeracy, reasoning, and problem-solving skills. You will support pupils in building confidence and preparing for GCSE Maths, ensuring strong progress across mixed-ability groups.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or be an ECT
• Have experience teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Be confident delivering GCSE Maths content
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and organisational skills
• Be committed to improving pupil outcomes and engagement
