The Role
We are recruiting a creative and committed Drama Teacher to join a Good secondary school in Birmingham from February 2026. This is a full-time, long-term position teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4. You will plan and deliver engaging, practical lessons that build confidence, performance skills and subject knowledge, while preparing students effectively for GCSE assessments.
The role includes full teaching responsibilities, including planning, marking and assessment. You’ll be expected to contribute to productions, rehearsals and enrichment opportunities where appropriate.
 
The Candidate
You must hold QTS, although ECTs are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, confident classroom management and the ability to inspire students of varying abilities. Experience delivering GCSE Drama is desirable, along with a passion for performance and creative arts education.
