The Role
A secondary school in Wolverhampton is seeking a confident and knowledgeable Economics Teacher to join their department from February 2026 on a long-term supply basis. The role involves teaching Economics at Key Stages 4 and 5, supporting pupils to develop strong analytical skills and a clear understanding of economic theory and real-world application.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing pupil progress, and preparing students for examinations. This role is suitable for experienced teachers as well as ECTs looking to gain KS5 experience within a supportive department.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will:
  • Hold QTS (or be an ECT)
  • Have experience teaching Economics at KS4 and KS5
  • Be confident delivering exam-focused content
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be organised, reliable, and committed to pupil progress
