The Role
A secondary school in Shropshire is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their department from January 2026 on a long-term supply basis. You will be teaching Science across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that support progress and attainment.
This is a full-time role offering consistency, clear expectations, and the opportunity to become a valued part of a supportive Science department. Planning, teaching and assessment will form part of the role, with schemes of work provided.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold QTS (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
  • Have experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and confident classroom delivery
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement
  • Be reliable, organised, and committed to pupil progress
