The Role
A Good-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a committed Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from January 2026. This supply position involves delivering high-quality KS3 and KS4 Geography, supporting pupils’ understanding of physical processes, human geography, and key geographical skills.
You will take responsibility for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and maintaining positive classroom behaviour in line with school expectations. The role offers flexibility while still providing consistency within a supportive department.
 
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold QTS (applications from ECTs are welcome)
  • Have experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
  • Deliver clear, structured, and engaging lessons
  • Be confident managing behaviour and classroom routines
  • Show commitment to raising standards and student outcomes
