The Role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a Good-rated secondary school in Shrewsbury from January 2026. This long-term supply role involves teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to build confidence, fluency, and strong problem-solving skills.
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing progress, and contributing to a collaborative Maths department with a clear focus on raising attainment and exam outcomes.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a motivated Maths specialist who can engage learners of all abilities. You should be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
• Confident teaching Maths at KS3 and KS4
• Able to deliver well-structured, differentiated lessons
• Committed to high standards of behaviour and achievement
• Organised, reliable, and a positive team player
