• Salary: £175 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

The Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Birmingham from January 2026. This long-term supply role involves teaching Science across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons that build curiosity, scientific understanding, and exam confidence.
You’ll take responsibility for planning, teaching, assessment, and classroom management, working as part of a supportive and collaborative Science department. This role offers stability and the chance to make a real impact on student progress.
 
The Candidate
The successful candidate will be a committed Science specialist who can inspire learners of all abilities. You should be:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (applications from ECTs welcome)
• Confident teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Skilled in delivering practical and theory-based lessons
• Organised, adaptable, and confident with classroom behaviour management
• Passionate about raising achievement and supporting student progress
