The Role
We’re looking for an engaging and dedicated History Teacher to join a forward-thinking secondary school in Birmingham. You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students to develop a strong understanding of key historical events, contexts, and concepts. The role involves full teaching responsibilities, including lesson planning, marking, and contributing to the wider life of the humanities department.
 
The Candidate
You’ll be a qualified History Teacher (ECT or experienced) with a passion for your subject and the ability to bring the past to life in the classroom. Strong classroom management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to raising attainment are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching both KS3 and KS4 and be confident using creative approaches to engage students of all abilities.
