The Role
You will be teaching English across KS3 and KS4, delivering lessons that build strong literacy skills, foster a love of literature, and prepare students for their GCSEs. Alongside planning and assessment, you will be expected to create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere where all students feel motivated to succeed.
 
The Candidate
The successful applicant will:
  • Hold QTS or be an ECT with a specialism in English.
  • Have excellent knowledge of the English curriculum at KS3 and KS4.
  • Be able to inspire students with engaging lessons that balance creativity and rigour.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Be committed to supporting student progress and achievement.
