English Teacher – Dudley

A secondary school in Dudley is looking for a committed English Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term assignment is an excellent opportunity for a teacher with QTS or an ECT to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 in both Language and Literature.

The Role
You will be teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4, taking on full teaching responsibilities including planning, delivery, marking, and assessment. The role offers the chance to design creative and engaging lessons that build students’ literacy, analytical thinking, and confidence in expressing ideas. Collaboration with colleagues in the English department is encouraged, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
The Candidate
This role is open to qualified English Teachers with QTS, including those in their ECT year. You’ll be passionate about the subject, confident in adapting lessons for learners of varying abilities, and skilled at building positive relationships in the classroom. Strong classroom management and a drive to support student progress are essential.
