French & Spanish Teacher – Birmingham

A ‘Good’-rated secondary school in Birmingham is seeking a talented French & Spanish Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This long-term supply role offers the opportunity to inspire students across KS3 and KS4, helping them develop both their language skills and cultural understanding.

The Role
You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in both French and Spanish, ensuring students are confident in speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The role will include full teaching responsibilities—planning, marking, and assessment—while working collaboratively with colleagues in a supportive MFL department. Opportunities to contribute to cultural events and language enrichment activities are encouraged.
 
The Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified MFL teacher with QTS (or ECT status) who can deliver both French and Spanish to KS4. You should be passionate about languages and have the ability to motivate students of all abilities to achieve their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment are essential.
