The Role
As the school’s new English Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering engaging, challenging, and curriculum-aligned lessons across KS3 and KS4. You’ll have the autonomy to bring texts to life and inspire a love of literature and language, while benefiting from a well-resourced department and strong SLT support. The school is looking for a teacher who can stretch high-achievers and support students who need that extra boost.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will:
- Hold QTS (or equivalent) and have a specialism in English
- Have recent experience teaching English in a UK secondary school
- Be confident in delivering lessons at KS3 and KS4
- Possess excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Bring passion, creativity, and a commitment to raising achievement
