English Teacher – Birmingham

• Position: English Teacher (QTS or ECT welcome)

• Start Date: September 2025
• Rate: £175–£250 per day (based on experience)
• Contract: Full-time, long-term supply
• Key Stages: KS3 & KS4

The Role
You will be teaching English Language and Literature to students in Key Stage 3 and 4, encouraging critical thinking, creativity, and a love of reading and writing. The English department is well-established and collaborative, offering a range of resources and shared planning support. You’ll be expected to plan engaging lessons, track progress effectively, and contribute to the wider life of the school.
The Candidate
We are looking for a qualified English teacher with QTS or someone currently completing their ECT year. You should have a solid understanding of the English curriculum, strong behaviour management, and a passion for helping students reach their full potential. Flexibility, commitment, and the ability to engage learners from a range of backgrounds will be key.
