The Role We’re working with a well-run secondary school in Sandwell seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, long-term role delivering general Science across Key Stages 3 and 4. You’ll be expected to plan and deliver engaging lessons, track pupil progress, and contribute to the wider life of the department.
Whether you specialise in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, this is an opportunity to teach within a forward-thinking team that values creativity, collaboration, and high standards.
The Candidate You must hold UK QTS or be an ECT with Science as your subject specialism. You’ll need excellent curriculum knowledge, strong behaviour management, and a passion for making Science both accessible and inspiring.
This role is ideal for:
- Experienced Science Teachers ready for a fresh challenge
- ECTs looking to begin their teaching career in a supportive setting
- Teachers with a strong record of raising attainment at GCSE level
- A current DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one) is required.
