Job Description

Music Teacher – KS3 & KS4

Bring your creativity and passion for music to a vibrant Birmingham secondary school this September. We’re seeking a talented Music Teacher to cover a full-time role through to December 2025.
 
Key Details:

  • Start Date: September 2025
  • Contract: Full-time, until December 2025
  • Daily Rate: £175 – £250 (dependent on experience)
 
The Role:
You’ll take the lead on delivering engaging and inclusive music lessons across KS3 and KS4, helping students develop technical skills, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for music. The timetable includes classroom teaching, extra-curricular involvement, and preparing students for GCSE assessments. You’ll have access to good facilities, including a dedicated music suite and a bank of instruments.
 
The Candidate:
We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic Music Teacher with strong subject knowledge and the ability to inspire students of all abilities. You should hold QTS (or equivalent), have experience teaching in UK secondary schools, and be ready to hit the ground running in September. A willingness to support concerts, clubs, or enrichment activities will be a plus.
