Hair & Beauty Teacher - Full or Part-Time

Could you use your subject knowledge to deliver creative and engaging lessons in a SEMH setting working with students studying BTEC Hair & Beauty?

*** Working with small groups making learning fun and achieving outcomes

The Role:
As a Hair & Beauty Teacher, you will deliver structured, engaging, and creative practical lessons to small groups. You will work to the BTEC curriculum so experience in a school of college is essential. You will not just be responsible for teaching the basics but also inspiring new trends and inspiring students to learn and be ready for the world of work.

The Candidate:
You will hold a teaching qualification in Hair & Beauty and have worked in a school or college setting teaching BTEC. You will be keen to continually develop your practice and enable students to keep abreast of new and inspiring techniques that will enable them to continue their development. You will have a track record of teaching and be able to adjust your style and methodology to work with students of all abilities across this creative subject.

Requirements

• Teaching Qualification
• BTEC – You will have in-depth knowledge of the BTEC Hair & Beauty curriculum.
• Enhanced DBS – Ideally on the Update Service.
• Desire to work with students age 14+ – With a genuine interest in supporting progress.
• Experience working with students in an SEMH or College setting.
