The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a state-of-the-art secondary school, where you will teach Business Studies at Key Stage 4 and 5. You will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and managing classrooms effectively. With excellent ECT induction support, you will receive the mentoring and resources needed to develop your skills and gain the confidence to take on your own classes.
The CandidateThe ideal candidate will:
- Hold a degree in Business Studies or a related field, and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
- Have a solid understanding of the Business Studies curriculum at Key Stage 4 and 5
- Be passionate about teaching business concepts and motivating students to achieve their full potential
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
- Be eager to work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school
