  • Pay: Main Pay Scale 1 (MPS1)
  • Duration: Permanent, starting September 2025
  • School Type & Location: ‘Good’ 4-Form Entry primary school, Ward of Yardley
  • Key Duties: Teach a Year 6 class, prepare pupils for SATs, and support their transition to secondary school
 
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to take full responsibility for a Year 6 class during a crucial year of their primary education. You will deliver engaging and structured lessons, support pupils through their SATs preparation, and help them develop the confidence and skills they need for secondary school. As part of a large 4-Form Entry school, you will have the advantage of working within a strong team, sharing planning, resources, and best practices to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
 
The Candidate
The school is looking for a motivated and resilient Early Career Teacher who is eager to take on this rewarding challenge. The ideal candidate will have:
 
  • A degree and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
  • Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum, including SATs preparation
  • The ability to create an engaging and structured learning environment
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to teaching and professional development
