The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher to take full responsibility for a Year 5 class while benefiting from a well-structured and academy-led ECT induction. You will deliver creative and engaging lessons, tailor teaching to support a range of learning needs, and play a key role in preparing pupils for their transition to Year 6. As part of a 2-Form Entry school, you will work closely with another Year 5 teacher, sharing planning and best practices to ensure high-quality teaching across the year group.
 
The Candidate
The school is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic ECT with a passion for teaching upper Key Stage 2. The ideal candidate will have:
 

• A degree and QTS (or be on track to achieve it by September 2025)
• Strong subject knowledge and an understanding of the Year 5 curriculum
• The ability to create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
• Excellent behaviour management skills and high expectations for pupil achievement
• A collaborative mindset and a commitment to professional growth
