💰 Pay: £90.00 per day

Are you a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with recent experience working in a primary school? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic TA to join a welcoming school in Benwell on a long-term temporary basis, supporting pupils in Upper Key Stage 2 (Year 5 & Year 6).

The Role:

• Supporting the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Providing targeted support to pupils, including those with SEN
• Leading small group interventions to enhance learning outcomes
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support

Requirements:
✔️ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent)
✔️ Have a DBS on the update service or be prepared to request one via ourselves.
✔️ Recent experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
✔️ Strong understanding of Upper Key Stage 2 curriculum
✔️ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✔️ A commitment until the end of the summer term
