Social Worker, Children's Social Care

Pertemps Social Care are currently recruiting experienced Qualified Social Workers in Cornwall to join the Child Protection team! 
There is plenty of hybrid working available. 

Job Description:
Cornwall Council’s Children and Family Services deliver effective frontline services that safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.  Our social workers are innovative, positive and dedicated to make a real difference.  Team Managers ensure regular reflective supervision and our training package is second to none.

The successful candidate should be able to hold child protection cases, have good written and verbal communication skills to work with a range of professionals and vulnerable families and chair multi-agency core group meetings.  Be able to complete and present reports within the child protection arena using Signs of Safety approach.  To be able to write court reports and present evidence to the court.  Have experience of child protection and court work and child in care work.   Knowledge / use of Signs of Safety and MOSAIC system would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be required to have their own transport and travel across Cornwall.
Requirements:

• Hold a Social Work England registration 
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Full UK Driver’s Licence
• Post-qualifying experience 
• Degree/equivalent in Social Work
