We are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity to join a high achieving secondary school in Middlesbrough as a Supply Maths Teacher. This position, starting in May 2026 and extending through December 2026, offers the chance to inspire students and cultivate their understanding of the world around them.


 


The Role:


As a Supply Maths Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional mathematical education to students in a supportive secondary school environment. Your responsibilities will include:


 


-       Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons that align with the national curriculum


-       Instilling a love for mathematics through innovative teaching methods and practical applications


-       Assessing students' progress and providing valuable feedback to support their growth


-       Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation


-       Collaborating with fellow Maths Teachers and school staff to enhance teaching resources


 


Requirements:


To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:


 


-       Proven experience as a Maths Teacher, dedicated to fostering mathematical understanding


-       Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring students in mathematics


-       Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, colleagues, and parents


-       Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse learning needs of students


-       Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
