***£90 - £120 per day (dependant on experience)
***’Good’, 2-form entry Primary School in Handsworth, Birmingham
***General Classroom Teaching Assistant to a year 4 class, leading small-group support and interventions
The Role
You will play a vital role in supporting pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis, you will help children who need extra support with behaviour, learning and confidence. You will help prepare materials, set up the classroom and support pupils during activities. You will observe pupil development and collaborate with the class teacher to help track progress. You will help manage pupils during group sessions, school trips, and break-times.
The Candidate
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be patient, empathetic and passionate about helping children succeed. You will have strong communication skills, work well in a team and is able to support pupils in small groups and one-to-one. You will have a good understanding of classroom routines and behaviour management. You will have experience working with children, and a relevant qualification.
