Pertemps Education are currently looking for a DT and Food Tech teacher to work within a specialist school catering for students with speech, language, and communication needs. The successful DT and Food Tech teacher will ideally have experience working with vulnerable adults or children in a special needs setting.

- The children at this school will all have an EHCP so previous experience supporting students with a variety of special needs is desired.

Here is the role information:
- Summer term or September 2025 start
- Permanant full-time position
- Experience with Resistant Materials and Food Tech would be ideal
- Salary will be based on experience
- This role will involve working within the secondary age group.
- There will be 1:1 and small group work, as well as general classroom support.
- Hours are 8.30am to 5pm
- The school will regularly have day trips and activities planned, which you will also be expected to support and be involved in
Pertemps Education will require the DT and Food Tech teacher to be fully vetted, including a child DBS certificate on the update service, recent references, right to work checks, and overseas police checks where necessary.
