This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate to work closely with students with Autism and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, helping them to overcome challenges and succeed in their education. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support teachers in delivering lessons, run small group and one-to-one interventions, and play a vital role in promoting positive behaviours and emotional wellbeing.
Your responsibilities will also include monitoring student progress, assisting in developing personalised strategies, and contributing to an inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. This hands-on role is perfect for someone looking to pursue a career in educational psychology, teaching, or SEN support.
 
We are looking for a psychology graduate with a genuine passion for supporting young people and a strong interest in special educational needs. You should be empathetic, patient, and confident in building positive relationships with students. While prior experience in SEN is beneficial, it is not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
