Job Description
A specialist school in Islington is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity, offered through our agency, for an educator who is enthusiastic about supporting students with additional needs in a nurturing and inclusive environment.
Job Title: Food Technology Teacher

The Role:
- Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Tailor learning to meet a wide range of abilities and needs
- Foster independence and confidence through cooking and nutrition education
- Manage a fully equipped food tech classroom and support students with both accredited and non-accredited learning pathways
- Work closely with teaching assistants and other specialists to ensure inclusive, high-quality provision
- Holds QTS/QTLS
- Experience teaching Food Technology or DT, ideally within a specialist or mainstream school setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, adaptable teaching style
- A genuine interest in working with children and young people with additional needs
- A friendly and inclusive working environment
