Role Overview:

• Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
• Location: Haringey
• Interview Date: Immediate
• Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
• Salary: £102 - £115 per day (dependent on experience)

About You: We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient SEN Teaching Assistant who:

• Has experience working with children on the autism spectrum and supporting their learning needs.
• Is confident in assisting students with communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and behaviour management.
• Can deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to support learning and social skills development.
• Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and support staff.
• Is proactive, adaptable, and passionate about creating an inclusive learning environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development within a specialist ASD setting.
• Implement tailored learning strategies, including visual supports, sensory approaches, and alternative communication methods.
• Assist in managing behaviour through positive reinforcement and de-escalation techniques.
• Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver personalised support plans.
• Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where all students can thrive.
