Rate: up to £44.50 per hour
 
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social workers to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
 
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience in children’s services.
 
The main duties of this position include:
 

• Being an integral part of the duty system
• Assessing needs and risk and safety planning
• Promoting practice standard to ensure robust assessments and social work interventions deliver better outcomes for children
• monitoring and driving performance in the team to ensure staff meet service expectations and targets
• Offering supervision and appraisals to social workers
• Promote partnership and participation with children and their families and partner agencies

 
The successful candidate must be willing to attend the office 3 days a week. Candidate must have experience of managing an Assessment and Intervention Team.
