Adults First Response Team
Rate: up to £32 per hour
We are recruiting for motivated qualified social worker to join our busy team. This role is with one of the UK’s highest performing local authorities, serving as one of the best places to live and work in.
This is a qualified role requiring you to be SWE registered and have relevant experience within adult’s services.
The perfect candidate for this role:
- They would be based here at the Civic Centre for the first 2 weeks then if everything is satisfactory we will come to an arrangement about a working from home part of the week but they must be prepared to be office based for Duty at least 1 to 2 days per week.
- They need to have experience of Care Act assessments, NHS Continuing Healthcare assessments, Safeguarding Adults Enquiries in a community setting and be able to undertake assessment and care management functions including presenting to Outcomes Forum for funding decisions.
- They need to be able to work at a fast pace as we are a short term team dealing with crisis work and we only hold cases for 4 to 6 weeks ideally.
- The team is currently 20 people – Team Manager, Assistant Team Manager, 9 Qualified social workers; 8 Assistant Social Workers plus admin support.
- The team is very supportive and we have locums who have been with us for a long time and regular supervision is provided.
- Driving is preferred but not essential.
