Location: West Bromwich, West Midlands (and clients in surrounding areas)
Position: Part-Time School Cleaner
Hours: 10-15 hours per week (typically between 3pm and 6pm)
Salary: £12.21 per hour

🧼 Key Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect classrooms, toilets, staff rooms, and communal areas
• Ensure all surfaces are wiped down and floors are vacuumed/mopped daily
• Safely handle and store cleaning chemicals in accordance with COSHH guidelines
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the Site Manager
• Lock up designated areas after cleaning (training provided)

✅ School-Specific Requirements

• Must be available to work after school hours (3:00pm–6:00pm)
• Must be able to work independently and follow a set cleaning schedule
• Experience 6+ months in cleaning - working in a school or childcare setting is desirable
• Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate
• Must complete Level 1 Safeguarding Training (provided upon appointment)
• Must adhere to the school’s confidentiality and safeguarding policies
