Pertemps Education is proud to be working in partnership with a fantastic Primary school in Hammersmith, who are seeking a qualified and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious HLTA looking to take the next step in their career, with the potential to progress into a Class Teacher role for the right candidate.
The Role
- Full-time HLTA position providing PPA cover across KS1 and KS2
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and behaviour
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress and wellbeing
- Working closely with class teachers and senior leaders
- Holds a recognised HLTA qualification
- Has proven experience working as an HLTA in a Primary school
- Confident delivering lessons independently across KS1 and KS2
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ambitious, proactive, and keen to progress within education
- A supportive and welcoming staff team
- A well-resourced learning environment
- Strong leadership and clear opportunities for career progression
