SENCO to join the team on a
one-year maternity cover contract.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in leading SEND provision across the school and ensuring every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.
The Role- Lead, coordinate, and evaluate the school’s SEND provision.
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to ensure high-quality support for pupils with additional needs.
- Oversee and update EHCPs, provision maps, and intervention plans in line with statutory requirements.
- Support staff through training, guidance, and modelling of effective SEND strategies.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with parents and carers.
- Contribute to a warm, nurturing school culture that prioritises inclusion, wellbeing, and achievement.

The Ideal Candidate- Holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or is working towards it.
- Has proven experience supporting and coordinating SEND provision in a primary setting.
- Possesses excellent knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and statutory responsibilities.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- Is committed to inclusion and passionate about helping every child reach their full potential.
