skilled and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to start ASAP.
About the Role: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with special educational needs in mainstream primary classrooms or within specialist resource provisions. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 for a non-verbal student with ASD
- Assisting the class teacher in adapting learning activities
- Supporting emotional, social, and academic development
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
- A positive, patient, and caring attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for helping children thrive
- A degree or relevant qualification is highly desirable
