As a Teaching Assistant specialising in SEMH support, you will work closely with teachers and staff to create a nurturing environment that promotes students' confidence, resilience, and academic progress. You will lead targeted intervention groups, providing tailored strategies to help students manage challenges and thrive.
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual with:- Experience working with children in a primary school setting, particularly supporting SEMH needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students.
- A commitment to promoting inclusion and well-being.
- A proactive, adaptable approach to working in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Leading SEMH intervention groups to support students' emotional well-being and development.
- Assisting teachers in creating and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum.
- Supporting students one-on-one or in small groups, addressing their individual needs.
- Encouraging positive behavior and fostering a supportive classroom environment.
- Collaborating with staff to ensure all students have access to the resources and support they need.
