Early Years Teaching Assistant - Nursery - Notting Hill - Immediate Start Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a warm and welcoming nursery in Notting Hill to recruit a Level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Early Years professional to support young learners in a nurturing, play-based environment that promotes exploration, development, and creativity.
Please note: A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education is essential for this role. Location: Notting Hill
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
About the Role: - Support the learning and development of children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework
- Assist with the delivery of engaging and age-appropriate activities planned by the class teacher or key person
- Foster a safe, caring, and stimulating environment that encourages children to thrive
- Help with daily routines including mealtimes, toileting, and transitions
- Observe and monitor children's progress, contributing to learning journals and assessments
- Work collaboratively with the nursery team and engage positively with parents and carers
- Support children with additional needs and always ensure inclusive practice
The Ideal Candidate Will: - Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent)
- Have recent experience working in a nursery or early years setting
- Be nurturing, patient, and committed to supporting children’s early learning and wellbeing
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Be a strong communicator and an enthusiastic team player
- Be confident supporting a range of needs and promoting a positive learning environment
