Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Hayes - September Start Pertemps Education is working in partnership with a three-form entry primary school in Hayes, which is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) from September 2025. Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience + Outer London Allowance
About the Role: - Provide high-level classroom support across Key Stages 1 and 2
- Deliver pre-planned lessons and interventions in the absence of the class teacher
- Lead small group and individual learning sessions to support pupil progress
- Assist with planning and assessment alongside teaching staff
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND
- Work collaboratively with class teachers and other support staff
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and whole-school events
The Ideal Candidate Will: - Hold HLTA status or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Have substantial experience working in a UK primary school
- Be confident delivering lessons and leading class activities independently
- Show strong behaviour management and interpersonal skills
- Be committed, enthusiastic, and flexible in their approach
- Demonstrate a passion for supporting children’s learning and development
