mainstream secondary school in Bromley that is seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic
Humanities Teacher to join their team from
September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or a motivated ECT to deliver engaging lessons and contribute to a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Location: Bromley
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary or Permament
Salary: M1 – UPS3 (Dependent on Experience)
About the Role:- Teach Humanities subjects (History, Geography, and/or RE) to students across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Plan and deliver creative and thought-provoking lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment
- Use a variety of assessment methods to monitor progress and tailor support
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Humanities department to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
- Participate in departmental meetings, CPD, and wider school activities
Ideal Candidate:- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Has experience teaching Humanities at secondary level
- Demonstrates strong subject knowledge, particularly in History, Geography, or Religious Education
- Has excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Is committed to supporting the academic and personal development of all students
- ECTs are welcome to apply and will receive strong mentoring and support
