Female PE Teacher - Westminster - September 2025 Start (Potential Head of Year Responsibility) 
A vibrant and high-achieving secondary school in Westminster is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Female PE Teacher to join their dynamic PE department on a permanent, full-time basis from September 2025. The role includes teaching Physical Education across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5.  
For the right candidate, there is an exciting opportunity to take on Head of Year responsibility. 
 

• Start Date: September 2025 

• Location: Westminster, Central London 

• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time 

• Salary: MPS/UPS + TLR1c (for potential Head of Year responsibility) 

 
The Role 
You will deliver a broad and engaging PE curriculum across KS3–KS5, promoting physical health, teamwork, and personal achievement. The department has excellent facilities including sports halls, fitness suites, and outdoor spaces. As a Female PE Teacher, you will also play a vital role in leading and supporting girls' PE provision and extracurricular opportunities. 
For experienced candidates, there is the opportunity to lead on pastoral support as a Head of Year, playing a key role in behaviour, attendance, and student wellbeing. 
 
The ideal candidate will: 

• Hold UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) 

• Be confident teaching PE across KS3–KS5, including exam-based PE at KS4/KS5 

• Be committed to promoting participation in sport and healthy lifestyles 

• Have strong classroom management and communication skills 

• Be passionate about supporting girls’ engagement in PE and sport 

• Be interested in taking on pastoral leadership as a Head of Year (if applicable) 

• Be a proactive, enthusiastic team player who contributes to whole-school life
