classroom and the school's Specialist Provision. This is a unique opportunity to make a real impact—supporting children with additional needs in a school that values diversity, collaboration, and creativity.
Role Details: - Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Interview Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-Time / Long-term
- Salary: £103 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)
The Role: You will play a key role in supporting pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. Working across the mainstream classroom and a well-resourced Specialist Provision, you’ll provide tailored support that helps every child reach their potential.
What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience supporting children with SEN in a school setting
- Confidence in adapting strategies and resources to suit individual learning needs
- A calm, compassionate, and flexible approach to supporting pupils with complex needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for inclusive education and empowering young learners
Your Key Responsibilities: - Deliver one-to-one and small group support, both in class and within the Specialist Provision
- Assist with the implementation of EHCPs and behaviour support strategies
- Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure consistency in support
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for all
