Role Overview
- Position: Early Years Teaching Assistant
- Location: Streatham
- Start Date: Immediate
- Salary: £105 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience working with children in EYFS
- Be knowledgeable about early childhood development and the EYFS framework
- Be confident in supporting early literacy, numeracy, and social skills
- Have a patient, nurturing, and adaptable approach to working with young children
- Be able to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff
- Be committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment
Your Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help children develop key skills
- Assist with phonics, early reading, and numeracy activities
- Encourage children’s social and emotional development through play-based learning
- Support the class teacher in delivering the EYFS curriculum
- Help create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment
