Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, dedicated, and qualified Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team at a school in Islington. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to students in Years 3 to 6, helping them develop essential academic, social, and emotional skills in a nurturing and engaging learning environment.
Pay: £36,000 - £54, 000 (Dependant on Experience)
Location: Islington
Start date: Immediate
Interview date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum, ensuring students are challenged and motivated to achieve their best.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports students’ learning and well-being.
- Differentiate teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Regularly assess student progress using formative and summative assessment strategies.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to enhance student learning and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities to stay up to date with teaching best practices.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Experience or a strong interest in teaching Key Stage 2.
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting the development of young learners.
