Role Overview: - Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
- Interview Date: Immediate
- Contract: Full-Time / Permanent
- Salary: £102 - £115 per day (Dependent on experience)
About You: - Has experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and associated learning needs.
- Is confident in supporting students with communication challenges, sensory needs, and behaviour management.
- Can provide one-to-one and small group interventions to enhance learning and social development.
- Works well as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff.
- Has a proactive and adaptable approach to meeting the needs of students in a specialist setting.
Your Responsibilities: - Support students in their academic, social, and emotional development within a structured ASD provision.
- Implement tailored learning strategies, including visual aids, sensory techniques, and alternative communication methods.
- Assist in managing behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
- Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver individualised support plans.
- Foster a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive.
