About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and professional Heating & Plumbing Engineer to join a growing maintenance team. This is a mobile role covering mainly schools, and light commercial sites across London.
The successful candidate will be experienced, reliable, and take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship while working independently in a customer-facing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Domestic gas boiler breakdowns, fault finding, and parts replacement
- Gas safety inspections and certification
- Domestic boiler installations and full boiler swaps
- Installation of cylinders, pipework, pumps, and valves
- Power flushing of heating systems
- Domestic heating and hot water wiring
- Y-Plan and S-Plan systems
- Hive and smart control conversions
- Confident working within commercial plant rooms when required
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer care
- Accurate completion of job reports using PDA/mobile systems
Essential Requirements
- Gas Safe Registered – Domestic
- Strong experience in domestic heating and plumbing
- Good working knowledge of commercial plant rooms
- Competent with pumps, valves, and system upgrades
- Clean DBS check (essential – work carried out in schools)
- Full UK driving licence
- Comfortable driving and working across London
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
