Adult MASH Team Manager This pivotal role within the Adult Social Care (ASC) directorate is responsible for leading and managing the Adult Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team. You will play a key part in the effective leadership of Adult Social Care Services, working closely with senior managers, health partners, police, and wider stakeholders to safeguard adults in Suffolk from abuse and neglect. A strong system-leadership approach is essential to ensure joined-up, accessible services across health, social care and community partners. Key Responsibilities - Lead and manage the Adult MASH Team to deliver high-quality, outcome-focused safeguarding practice and robust risk assessment. - Support Operations and Partnerships Managers, Area Directors, County Councillors, and health leaders in delivering strategic and political priorities. - Promote Suffolk County Council’s vision, values and priorities, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, value for money and customer-focused outcomes. - Build a high-performance team culture that is flexible, innovative and responsive to changing needs. - Work collaboratively with Integrated Neighbourhood Teams, Children and Young People Services, Police, Public Health and Health partners to deliver integrated safeguarding responses. - Ensure compliance with statutory duties including the Care Act, Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act. - Oversee operational planning, programme development, HR processes, staff development and financial management, including responsibility for the Adult MASH staffing budget. - Drive preventative, sustainable solutions that support adults, families and carers to maximise independence and reduce demand. - Monitor and review service delivery, escalating risks and ensuring business continuity and quality standards are met. - Support system transformation, ensuring new digital, information and technology changes are embedded effectively. - Identify opportunities for joint delivery and cost reduction across the health and care system.
