Brokerage Officer, Hounslow
£24.37 per hour.
- Take responsibility for operational delivery, including risk management, in those areasallocatedto them by the Manager and of relevance to the work of the team.
2. Provide support, guidance and mentoring to less experienced colleagues as required.
3. Manage performance enquiries, specially, client invoice queries, provider finance queries, FOIs and complaints relevant to the team (green sheet) and in accordance with the Council Policies.
4. Understand service objectives and support these through your day to day activities, feeding back on service development requirements. The role also includes a range of activities carried out on behalf of NHS North West London Integrated Care Board, Continuing Healthcare and end of life pathway.
5. Realise the benefits of Hounslow’s diversity by promoting the needs and aspirations of Hounslow’s communities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and promoting a philosophy of putting customer needs first at every opportunity.
6. Support the priorities of Hospital discharges ensuring safe provision of care to Older persons and people with physical disabilities.
7. Provide high quality advice, support and assistance to the Manager to deliver outcomes that comply with appropriate legislation, professional standards and the Council’s vision and values.
8. Use feedback from internal and external customers and an understanding of the Council’s strategic objectives to suggest opportunities to improve performance relevant to the team.
9. Work collaboratively as part of a team to support and develop positive and constructive partnerships with colleagues across departments and settings. Work with other authorities to deliver quality outcomes for customers.
10. Demonstrate awareness of partners in neighbouring boroughs, identifying opportunities for joint working with other local authorities and the NHS NWL ICB.
11. Where agreed as part of their performance appraisal, work towards appropriate qualifications as part of their professional development.
12. Participate in the Council’s emergency planning and responses to emergency situations when required to do so.
13. Assist in the conduct of elections when required to do so.
14. Demonstrate and ensure high standards of probity and compliance with Council policy, promoting and developing the Council’s image.
