Deputy Team Manager, Community Review Team, Southwark
in the Older Persons and Physical Disability Service, Southwark Council. The Deputy Team Managers will work with the Team Managers to deliver a safe, strength based service, promoting and improving independence, ensuring comprehensive person-centred assessments, reviews and interventions, supporting court work (where required) and ensuring residents are safeguarded, enabling choice and control regarding their accommodation, care and support needs. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising both Social Workers and Assistant Practitioners. The management team currently consists of one other Deputy Team Manager and the Team Manager. Given the fast-paced nature of the team and the breadth of responsibilities, prior experience is essential. You will be expected to hit the ground running. Key responsibilities include: • Allocating and signing off work in a timely and analytical manner - to effectively manage risk. • Managing the review inbox and prioritising cases for allocation • Supporting data quality and promoting a strengths-based approach • Managing risk and acting as SAM, requiring a strong understanding of safeguarding principles • Working in partnership with other DTMs across the service to ensure appropriate case transfers To ensure that service provision provides value for money and meets the individual and at times complex needs of service users and their carers based upon a strength based approach to assessment. •Deputising for the Team Manager as required
£40.69 per hour
